- The original info file was a copy of the FOB Oade Stealth mics, but the md5's didn't match and disk 1 was TAO.
I removed the TAO gaps and reshn'd disk 1 but am calling this an unknown aud since I can't trace the lineage.
The timeings for disk 2 are very close to those of the FOB Stealth Mics info file as is the total time of disk 1
after removal of the TAO gaps. This would suggest that the shns were a re-eac of the Stealth Mic seed but that
disk 1 was burned TAO in error. The original shns were downloaded from thephilzone.etree.org.

After years later totally appreciate this more than ever. Hadn't seen Phil since 1990. I guess Kimock left the tour but Derek Philled in nicely. At such a young age he showed his prowess. I sometimes go back and give it a listen. No other Phil show gives me that urge.

I must disagree with comments from previous reviewer, capn doubledose. I think Phil always knew what he had in mind. He wasn't soloing. The other 4 members were right there with him. Coltrane with Miles band was soloing by himself. All the other members of the band had experience with jamming.
As for sounding too Allman Brothersy, I don't know what that means. Jams on Elizabeth Reed sounds nothing like Mountain Jams.
It was certainly the birth of the most famous Quintet when Warren replaced Derek Trucks. But the others were there live and jamming.

This source is good, I like it, but the quality of the other source (AKG mics) definitely wins by a few percentage points.
This source: 3.509971 stars for aud quality.
5.872 stars for show quality.

The AKG 393 source sounds better than this "Stealth FOB" recording. It seems I need to complete a star rating to write a comment. Therefore, please note that my star rating reflects neither my judgement as to the quality of the performance or the sound quality of the recording. It's just a filler.

There are some hot licks in here bt I think at that point Phil was still trying to figure out what he was going to be solo.
There are alot of rambling jams and sounds a little too Allman Brothersy. Sound is crystal clear though and the musicianship is great.
